Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (HP TET)
The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBoSE) had successfully conducted HP TET in November 2024. The HP TET exam is a state-level eligibility test conducted for aspirants who wish to join a teaching career in HP State. HP TET is designed to check the knowledge and teaching skills of prospective teachers. The HP TET Exam is online mode, as a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in both languages English, Hindi and other languages.
HP TET Certificate is valid for Lifetime. Moreover, HP TET certificate is mandatory for teaching jobs in Government and aided schools. Previously, the HP TET certificate was valid for 7 years. The mode of HP TET is online mode, as a Computer Based Test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options each. The Total Number of Questions was 150 in each paper and 150 marks for each paper. There is 1 mark for each correct answer and No negative marking for incorrect answers.
