The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is an annual entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admissions to various undergraduate professional courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. KCET 2025 Exam Pattern:
The KCET 2025 Mode of Examination is Offline i.e. Pen-Paper based OMR Sheet mode. The KCET 2025 exam will be held for 3 days with two shifts par day for different subjects.
The Duration of KCET 2025 exam for each subject paper is 80 minutes. The Questions paper will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The number of questions in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) will have 60 questions and each subject paper is of total 60 marks.
There will be 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for any wrong answers. The language of the question papers will be in English and Kannada.
Meanwhile, there will be separate Kannada Language Test of 60 minutes with 50 marks is conducted for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (those whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava and have resided and studied in specified border areas).
