UGC NET 2024 online registration started at the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the UGC NET 2024 exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is a national-level eligibility exam for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in India. The candidates who qualify this exam are eligible for teaching in universities and colleges in India. Candidates can apply for eligibility only for Assistant Professor or for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Mode and Pattern:
University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is an online Computer-Based Test (CBT). There are Two Papers:
- Paper-I: The paper 1 mainly focuses on general aptitude, teaching and research aptitude, comprehension, logical reasoning, and data interpretation. Candidates should note that paper 1 is common for all candidates.
- Paper-II: The paper 2 covers the subject chosen by the candidate as per choice or specialization (e.g., management, finance, etc). This paper assesses your in-depth knowledge of your chosen field.
The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. The exam is usually in June and December and that’s why it’s known as UGC NET June and UGC NET Dec attempts. The exam patter is multiple subjects wise and a wide range of subjects are offered. There is No negative marking:, so candidates can attempt all questions because you don’t lose marks for incorrect answers.
